Joubert Tennis Academy is seeking a committed Tennis Coach to deliver structured, high-quality coaching to junior and competitive players. The role involves planning and conducting training sessions, supporting player development across technical, tactical, physical, and mental areas, and assisting with matches, tournaments, and academy events. The coach is expected to uphold professional standards, communicate effectively with players and parents, and contribute positively to the academy’s development pathway.

Plan and deliver structured tennis coaching sessions aligned with the academy’s development framework. Coach players across various age groups and levels (mini tennis, juniors, competitive, performance). Implement technical, tactical, physical, and mental training components. Prepare players for tournaments, leagues, school fixtures, and ranking events. Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to players and parents. Maintain attendance, lesson feedback, and player evaluations where required. Uphold safeguarding, safety, and professional coaching standards at all times. Assist with academy events, camps, trials, and tournaments. Work collaboratively with Head Coaches, assistant coaches, and admin staff. Represent the academy professionally on and off court.

Proven playing ability at a competitive club, provincial, or higher level. Coaching experience with juniors and/or adults. Recognised coaching qualification (ITF, Tennis SA, or equivalent) or willingness to complete. Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport. Legal right to work in South Africa (citizenship or valid work permit). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for junior development and long-term athlete development.
